How to reset your Cabrillo email password via Okta

  1. Go to cabrillo.okta.com in a web browser

  2. Click "Forgot password"

  3. Enter your Cabrillo email address and click "Next"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  4. Select "Phone"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  5. Phone verification is the only valid option for resetting your password; other factors like Yubikey, Okta Verify, etc. will not work. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  6. Enter the code you receive and click "Verify"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  7. Answer your security question

  8. Set a new password for your account and sign in

    Anyone with an employe account (i.e. faculty, staff, student assistants, contractors, volunteers, etc.)

    Users will need to "forget" and re-authenticate to the secure-hawknet wireless network
