Instruction for enabling 3C Media in your Canvas Account
- In Canvas, navigate to your course.
- Find the Pages tab and select it.
- On the top left Right, navigate to the View all Pages button before the +Page button is available. Click the +Page button.
- You will be at a screen to create a new page. You can title the page "3CMedia".
- Find the Apps icon in the top bar of the main textbox.
- You may already have the 3cMedia available, If so, select that. If you don’t see it go to step
- If you don’t have the 3C Media available, select View All and select 3C Media in the window that pops up.

- You may be prompted to create an account as your currently logged in email is not recognized. Select the Create Account button.

- Once the Account is created you will have a new page on the left called “3C media”. Select that page.

- If you are new to 3C Media, you can add videos in the top right “add upload” and select “Upload media”. Otherwise, your existing videos in 3C Media will be shown. The media will be uploaded once the progress bar hits 100%.

- After the media has been uploaded you will need to refresh your browser in order to modify the title and description.

- It should now be available in your 3C Media Library found on the 3C Media page.
- Your video will need to be Published before it will be accessible by students through the 3C Media page now available in the left navigation bar.
- Finally, you would need to insert the video to a module for students to view the video.
How to Add to module
Step 1:Select the Assignment you would like to attach the video to.

Step 2: Select edit in the top right.

Step 3: Select 3C Media from the file attachments. If this is your first time you may need to Select “View All” and then select 3C Media. The selection should now be available to you in the future.

Step 4: Insert the desired video and save the module.
