As part of our Adobe enterprise license agreement, the District has access to a number of Adobe Acrobat Sign licenses. Automated provisioning will be happening in the upcoming days.
- What does it do?
- Acrobat Sign enables you to easily add digital signature blocks to PDF documents, then routes those files to recipients for their approval and/or signature. The process is tracked via a web portal, making it easier to identify where a product is in routing, and to retrieve previously signed documents.
- Who has access to it?
- Employees receiving access will be receiving notification directly.
- We don’t have quite enough licenses for every employee, but should have enough for everyone who wants to use the tool. Note that recipients (signers) do not need a license – only those sending the file out for review/signature.
- How to access it?
- To access Adobe Sign, either visit the site directly or log in to your Okta dashboard and select the Adobe Acrobat Sign tile, and click “Continue with Google.”
- How to use it?
- Adobe has some helpful tutorial videos about Acrobat Sign.
- Acrobat Sign is not the right tool for every job, and should not be used to replace other existing workflow processes such as the BSO submission portal, unless approved by that process owner.
